Jacqueline LINSMEAU
Jacqueline Linsmeau studied law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and is a Doctor of Juridical Science at the same university. Jacqueline also has obtained a commercial science degree and the Belgian High Court (Cour de Cassation) proceedings certificate. She is a member of the Brussels Bar since 1969 and joined our firm as a partner upon the merger with Linsmeau-Van Parijs.
Jacqueline acts primarily as a litigation specialist in banking and financial law. Her experience in arbitration and dispute resolution is both domestic and international. She advises her clients on a broad range of commercial matters, nevertheless focussing on contracts, securities, distribution, M&A and large industrial projects.
Jacqueline is the author of numerous articles on the above subjects. She is regularly invited as a speaker at conferences in Belgium and abroad and is a professor at the Université Libre de Bruxelles where she currently teaches domestic and international arbitration, after having tought civil procedure for many years.
