Mélanie Ghys studied law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and is a member of the Brussels Bar since 2001. She also obtained a Master degree in Intellectual Property at the Katholieke Universiteit Brussel in 2003.

Mélanie concentrates on insurance law, responsibility law and intellectual property law, with a focus on copyright, trademark and domain names.
