Pierre-Yves de Harven studied law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and is a member of the Brussels Bar since 2002.

He obtained, cum laudae, a Master degree in Intellectual Property at the Katholieke Universiteit Brussel. ( see Publications )

He is assistant professor at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, where he teaches the introductory course on private law (lecturer: Valérie Simonart).

Pierre-Yves concentrates on commercial law, with a focus on trade practices, e-commerce, distance selling, advertising, consumer protection, data protection and intellectual property. In addition he also acts in matters concerning local taxes.

ABMD (Association Belge du Marketing Direct), member of the Legal Task Force and of the "Comité de surveillance".
